Changing Attitudes
New class starting June 27, 2013
Class Description: Is your dog easily distracted, unable to work off lead around other dogs, have difficulty concentrating, unable to control their impulses when excited?
The Changing Attitudes program is designed for dogs that participate in dog sports activities and pet dogs that need help developing focus and confidence. It is not suitable for aggressive dogs. You will learn techniques to help your dog relax, to ignore exciting things in the environment, learn to focus on you, and to develop a strong relationship between you and your dog.
Due to the special nature of this course, students should complete the Behavior Class questionnaire (download below) prior to being accepted into class. The first week of class will be a lecture, for humans only (NO DOGS), followed by six 1-1/2 hour group classes with dogs. After the first week, you will need to bring to class: a crate, a mat, a clicker and a variety of rewards (food and toy).
Class Fee: $140 + Membership Dues
